Being new to DE shaving I was a little apprehensive about using an adjustable razor but the Rockwell T2 is simply superb in every way, easy to adjust, perfectly weighted, and inspires confidence when cranked all the way to 6 to plough off several days of growth, highly recommend!

One of my favourite soaps. The soap lathers very quickly and gives a great cushion to the face while shaving. Its very slick and has the great scent of Shulton Old Spice with a touch of menthol. I will certainly buy this soap again.

A bit smaller than the bowl I've been using but plenty of room for the brush to move around and the dimpled surface helps generate lather . . which stays in place. A bonus is that by leaving the bowl floating in the basin the hot water keeps the lather pleasantly warm
Fairly light, nice textures on the handle to prevent slipping with wet hands. Tightening mechanism for blade is very nice, much better than others. Definitely the nicest razor I’ve ever used. Takes a bit of practice to use, but once you’ve mastered the art, the shave is very close and comfortable
I wanted a reasonably priced SE razor and they seemed to be very hard to find in the UK. I sent Jay an email as they always seemed out of stock so when he got one he let me know so I could get it.
The only unfortunate thing was they were out of stock of the blades so I had to wait a while to try the razor.
I wanted something to get through a weeks worth of growth, DE are OK but seem to struggle hence looking for a reasonably priced SE razor.
As it is my first time I went for Feather ProGuard blades and it worked well. I cannot say about the closeness as I use this to get the growth off and then use a cartridge to finish off.
It is a bit lighter than I am used to but I am sure I will get used to it.
Being on blood thinners the last thing I want is a load of nicks and so far I have virtually none and way better than I would have had with the razor I am used to.
