Grave Before Shave was born from a simple frustration: the lack of truly effective beard products. Founder Wayne Bailey, encouraged by his wife Heather, began experimenting after struggling to find quality moustache wax for his own handlebar moustache and goatee. Dissatisfied with mainstream options, he turned to his grandfather’s original recipe and teamed up with artist Charlie Halstead to create something better.

Important Note on Natural Ingredients

Because this beard butter is made without synthetic or chemical binders, temperature changes during transit may affect its consistency. Shea butter can occasionally become gritty or melt—this is normal and does not affect product quality.

How to restore a smooth texture:

1. Place the container (lid on) in the microwave for ~1½ minutes until fully melted

2. Gently shake the container

3. Place it in the freezer overnight to re-set

4. Remove and allow it to thaw the following day
