A bit smaller than the bowl I've been using but plenty of room for the brush to move around and the dimpled surface helps generate lather . . which stays in place. A bonus is that by leaving the bowl floating in the basin the hot water keeps the lather pleasantly warm
just about the right size, warms well helps make a great lather with a good shaving soap and badger brush. A good investment.
