Captain Fawcett Scapicchio Shaving Soap

Captain Fawcett has teamed up with Luigi Scapicchio, a member of one of the world's oldest barber families, to create a Signature Series Shaving Soap. The Fig, Olive and Bay Rum Shaving Soap is designed to provide the ultimate shaving experience. The inspiration for this luxurious Shaving Soap comes from the abundant Fig and Olive groves found in Puglia, the native land of the Scapicchio family. The soap is infused with a traditional hair tonic called West Indian Bay Rum to create a fusion of the Old World and the New.

The Scapicchio family has been associated with the art of barbering since 1820 when Signor Marco Scapicchio opened his barber shop. The skills and techniques related to this noble profession have been passed down from father to son for five generations. Scapicchio's family is renowned for their Kamisori fixed blade shave and their vintage Italian artistry, which is still taught in their famed Accademia.

The refreshing fragrance of this shaving soap pays homage to Luigi's great-grandfather, who migrated to Chicago in 1910 and established his first Italian barbershop. Vincenzo became one of Al Capone's trusted personal barbers, but that's another story.
